Bid Capitol

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Bid Capitol. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

What Bid Capitol does

Bid Capitol is a subscription that helps small businesses find federal contract opportunities using public SAM.gov data. We show plain-English summaries, Bid/No-Bid scores, and AI first-draft proposals.

Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.

Subscriptions and billing

Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects your next renewal.

Canceling

You can cancel anytime. Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time, except as described below.

30-day money-back guarantee

Yearly plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel a yearly plan within 30 days of purchase, email us for a full refund. Monthly plans are not eligible.

Founding member pricing

Founding member prices are locked for life as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel or your subscription lapses, the founding price ends and current pricing applies if you return.

Acceptable use

  • Don't scrape, copy in bulk, or resell Bid Capitol data or content.
  • Don't share your account or try to get around limits or security.
  • Don't use the service for anything illegal or misleading.

No guarantee of winning

We help you find and prepare for opportunities, but we can't promise you will win any contract. Scores and drafts are guidance, not advice.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for reading each full solicitation, checking all requirements and deadlines, and preparing and submitting your own bids. Bid Capitol never submits bids for you.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bid Capitol is not liable for lost profits, lost contracts, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending access

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.
